Nazdeekiyaan': Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt recreate the magic of black and white era

'Nazdeekiyaan': Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt recreates the magic of black and white era

The makers of "Shaandaar" released another song, 'Nazdeekiyaan', recently that features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
This romantic track has recreated the magic of the black and white era. Shahid and Alia looked mesmerising performing waltz around a ballroom.
However, Shahid's father Pankaj Kapoor also gave a tough competition to his son while he performed with Alia in the beginning.
At the end of the song, Alia and Shahid come together for their ballroom dance and the video shows eight duplicates of the couple performing on this slow romantic track.
Composed by Amit Trivedi, the lyrics of "Nazdeekiyan" has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and it has been sung by Nikhil Paul George and Neeti Mohan.
Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, "Shaandaar" has created a lot of curiosity.
In the film, both Alia and Shahid suffer from insomnia and fall in love in the middle of a larger-than-life wedding. It is an out-and-out youthful love story focusing on two characters -- Alia and Jagjinder Joginder. Alia's father Bipin (played by Pankaj Kapoor) adds a twist to their romance as he believes no guy will ever be good enough for his daughter.
While Alia is a dreamer, Jagjinder Joginder is a doer and he feels he can make anything happen. And Bipin hates him for obvious reasons.
This is the first time thatShahid and Alia are teaming up for a film. "Shaandaar" is supposed to be India's first ever film on "destination wedding".
The film is slated to release around Dussehra on 22 October.

Shaandaar: Do you know what Shahid Kapoor is teaching Alia Bhatt these days?

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are sharing the screen for the first time in Shaandaar

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are quite the talk of the town these days, thanks to their upcoming film Shaandaar. The Vikal Bahl project is in its post-production stage now, and the brains behind the film are making sure they keep Shaandaar trending till the release of the film.
So, after the trailer of the film made it straight to the list of best trailers of this year, the Shaandaar guys went ahead and released the first song from the film - Gulaabo. Once Gulaabo was on all music charts, the title song of the film - Shaam Shaandaar - hit the web. Both the songs have been watched, listened to and shared many times since their release. And now, the third song from the film - Nazdeekiyan - is soon to be released.
According to insiders, the song is to feature Shahid and Alia waltzing to its tunes. And the ace dancer that Shahid is, he has now taken the task of making Alia too perfect her ballroom-moves. All through the song, Shahid was right next to Alia, helping her get her moves just right. The song has been shot iEarlier, during the launch of Gulaabo in Mumbai, Alia had been quoted as saying, "Gulaabo was our first ever song that we danced together to. I was damn nervous because I was supposed to be dancing with Shahid. Even with just 10 per cent of his dancing skills, he looks great on stage. So, I had to match up to him. I worked very hard. At one stage, I even burst out crying and Bosco (choreographer) used to say that I have penguin feet. But I have to say Shahid also helped me a lot.And all that hard work on Alia's part and coaching on Shahid's seem to have paid off well for both the actors. In both Gulaabo and Shaam Shaandaar, Alia and Shahid have nailed their dance moves. Whether or not they will be able to recreate the magic in Nazdeekiyan too is something that only time will tell!

Alia Bhatt: Fear of Failure Makes Me Work Harder

Alia Bhatt

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt said that the fear of failure makes her work harder.

"Fear of failure is a constant thought and I can't say that I never think about it. Probably I always think about it, that's why I feel like I will always work harder," Alia told IANS in a telephonic interview.

Nevertheless, the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan also believes that "living on the fear of future makes you miss out on the beauty of the present".

"So more than fearing it, I am just aware that this is what it is right now. But there is something called change which is the only constant and things will keep changing. I have to keep adapting, but nonetheless, I have to always work hard and never fail," said Alia.

"I can't forget the fact that hard work, dedication, respect of your fellow co-workers and the people that you interact with and, of course, the warmth and love that you give them, is most important. And that is something that I will make sure of following throughout my life," added Alia.

Alia made her debut in Bollywood with the 2012 film Student Of The Year which was directed by Karan Johar.

The 22-year old actress will soon be seen in Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar co-starring Shahid Kapoor. Shaandaar is scheduled to release on October 22.

"I feel like Shaandaar is one step into a mad world which I have never been a part of. What set this film apart is the quirky, mad kind of space, which I really like. It has a quirky, interesting and a beautiful looking vibe to it, but at the same time the emotions are real," said Alia.

Alia has sung a song in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, in which she featured along with Varun Dhawan.

When Alia was asked when she is going to sing next, she said: "It will happen probably in my films only. I think I will stick to singing for my films only for now."

Alia also loves connecting with her fans. She wore a 'doodle' dress at an event while promoting Shaandaar, which featured poems and messages sent by her fans. The actress said that her fans make her feel special.

"I don't believe in avoiding my fans at all. It they are giving me appreciation, I have to be thankful and grateful for that appreciation. Honestly, I want to reach out to them and make them feel special because with their love, they make me feel special everyday," said Alia.

Doing the dungaree: Flaunt it like Kangana, Alia and Amrita

Kangana Ranaut, Alia Bhatt, Amrita Arora

With the comfort, ease of movement and the endless styling options this garment provides, we wouldn't shy from calling a dungaree a wardrobe staple and for the full impact, it better a piece in classic denim.
If all that's stopping you from wearing a dungaree is the styling, then we have you covered! Be it a brunch with your girls or that music festival you have been dying to go to, here are the best ways to wear a dungaree.
A printed tee acts as a great canvas to show-off a dungaree. You can choose between a graphic tee, a busy patterned one or a pick with cute tiny prints like anchors or those quirky Chumbak like motifs. Kangana Ranaut looked so cool wearing her dungarees with a cap and a slogan tee.

Alia Bhatt reveals her idea of a perfect date

Hint: She doesn't like candlelight dinners. PHOTO: BOLLYWOODTABLOID

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt says that she would rather prefer a date wearing pajamas at home instead of a candlelight dinner all decked up.
“Honestly, I’m not into candlelight dinners — going out and dressing up. I want to be in my pajamas at home, and watch my favourite TV shows; Game Of Thrones and Friends. I want to eat my favourite cheap food, whether it is pizza, or other cheap food like samosas or chaat,” she revealed.
But all the boys interested in taking out this Bollywood beauty should know that she has chosen to become a vegetarian and a pepperoni pizza might not strike her fancy.

I want to be in the comfort of my home with my partner and be myself and that would be a shaandaar date for me,” said Alia talking about her ideal date.
Responding to Alia’s answer, Shahid quipped: “That means you’ll be throwing pizzas and chaat at each other.”
Alia and Shahid were promoting their film Shaandaar at a college when one of the students asked Alia who she would like to go on a date with from the film industry except Shahid, he was quick to interrupt, “Why did you leave me out?”
When reminded that he was married and hence committed, he replied: “Everybody is committed in some way or the other. At least, hypothetically let me be alive.”
The actress asked the crowd for suggestions. Names of Bollywood actors came from all corners, all except for Shahid’s. At this, he said: “I’m one of you and you’re taking other names and not my name, I’m very hurt.”
Finally Alia said, “I’ll go on a Shaandaar date with Shahid and all students of Mithibai College.”

Shahid Kapoor turns dance teacher for Alia Bhatt!

Look who has turned a dance teacher for Alia Bhatt! And we think Alia Bhatt could not have been luckier than this. We have always maintained that Shahid Kapoor is an efforless dancer. While other B-town dancing stars work hard to give their best dancing move, it is Shaid who just does every step imaginable with so much and tremendous passion. He truly is an effortless dancer with incredible energy!
Gulaabo song from Shaandaar has Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt flaunting some suave moves, Shahid and Alia’s dance moves have taken the song to an altogether different level. However, not many know that it was Shahid’s extra work on Alia that made the steps look so good. A source shares, “The song has been choreographed by Bosco of Bosco-Caesar and Alia needed some time to get the moves right, before the final shoot. Shahid who is known for his dancing skills, pitched in to help her during the rehearsals and even during the shoot. The duo spent extra time rehearsing and ended up receiving a lot of compliments from the team for their energy in the song.” Gulaabo is the first song to be released from the film. The song was launched with much fan fare recently.

Alia Bhatt's 'Error 508.' Is She Trying to Tell us Something?

Alia Bhatt's 'Error 508.' Is She Trying to Tell us Something?

Regular Bollywood stars might throw shade at people sometimes. But not Alia Bhatt. She throws Error 508.

If you don't know what we're talking about it, here's some reference.

For the launch of the song Gulaabo from her upcoming film Shaandaar, co-starring actor Shahid Kapoor, Alia made a digital-friendly outfit. The actor rocked androgynous style at the event in ILK overalls with a checked shirt and metallic sneakers.

Notice what her overalls say, though? Printed across the top are the words - Error 508.

No, that isn't a count of all her embarrassing public failings. Error 508 is actually a tech glitch that usually occurs when a website exceeds the resources assigned to it. One reason for this could be excessive user traffic on the site.

So is Alia subtly reminding us that her popularity is soaring to new heights?
